Services provided are diverse and are created to an individual’s specific need. In addition to assisting the individuals, ASHA-Ray of Hope aims to educate the community about existence, prevalence and

prevention of domestic violence through newsletters, meetings, films, plays, media appearances, training and participation in other community and group activities.

To date, ASHA-Ray of Hope has assisted 35 victims, two with referrals for legal help, which have resulted in victims getting out of abusive situations. Others victims have been counseled.
